Of course, most of them are located in the center of Kyiv – on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti, near the Palace of Sports, Zoloti Vorota, not far from the St. Sophiia Cathedral.
However, there are also excellent examples on the left bank.
The themes of Kyiv morals are the most diverse – it is a tribute to well-known personalities and the popularization of alternative energy sources, and appeals to the protection of wildlife and, of course, religion.
But the main motive of the morals in the capital, of course, is national. Inspiration artists often find in various national events. So, for example, appeared morals dedicated to Serhiy Nigoyan. This mural is very unique – it is carved in the wall.
One of the most beautiful and unique for Ukrainian morals is located in the heart of Kyiv – right on Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The facade of the apartment house depicts the face of a woman surrounded by bright sunflowers. This antler for the Kyivans was painted by a street-art artist from Costa Rica – Mata Ruda. The work was created within the framework of the ArtUnitedUs project.
