The best clips filmed in Kiev

We love Kiev. For its modernity, beauty and heartfulness. For the Parkovy bridge and Khreschatyk. For the street food festival and Kiev cake. We love it because we fall in love, create cool stuff and drink tasty coffee here. We love it because we live here. And when we see Kiev in the clips of great musicians, we’re happy.
That’s why we gathered together the best Ukrainian and foreign clips filmed in Kiev (in our humble opinion).

Hurts – Wings

Hurts love Ukraine (and it’s really mutually!). For the last several years Theo and Adam visited us twice, and of course with a great success. Guys decided not only to perform here, but to capture Kiev in their clip as well.

Natalia Imbruglia – Shiver

Natalia is a famous Australian signer. She is sweet, fragile and has a nice voice. Kiev is rather criminal in her clip – there are a lot of old cars, chasing and special stylistics. And railway station, of course.

Mo – Kamikaze

Troeschina with its panel houses, chavs and bad roads looks like a perfect background for the 90‘s style party, that is shown in the cute song Kamikaze performed by the Dutch singer MO. And it really looks like an organic mix. Maybe, chavs just need good PR?

Years&Years – Shine

British band Years&Years hasn’t perform in Ukraine yet, but they have made a clip in Puscha-Voditsa. You don’t see Kiev here, but you’ll see the next: carpets on the wall (that is pretty much orgasmic for the esthetes), typical Ukrainian house with wooden windows, soviet tile in the bathroom and some sort of UFO.

ONUKA- Misto

Best Ukrainian singer ONUKA created the most popular song about Kiev in recent years. One cannot listen to this song without horripilation if loves this beautiful city. Uzhnyi bridge, subway, Gulliver elevators – all these places are so familiar to the citizens.

Coldplay – Up&Up

Only small part of this clip was shot in Kiev, but we want to talk about it anyway because of one particular reason. Special effects of the clip were created by Ukrainian visual team. And they have done it really good. We are proud of the them!
