Start your day with a cultural walk – look left and right, there are the Organ Hall, Academy of Sciences, the Parliament, City Hall, the Presidential Palace. You can go there and then sit on the benches to get acquainted with the local youth, and just enjoy your holiday.
One of the most popular destinations in Chisinau — wineries. This industry is well developed and attracts tourists. Take a look at the real wine cave and grab a few bottles of wine or brandy. The most famous – wine cellars of Chateau Cojusna (15 km from Chisinau) and cellars Cricova (a few kilometers from the city).
Do you want to bring something for yourfamily and friends back home, but all the souvenir wine is gone? Do not worry — Chisinau has its own “Arbat” and a flea market where you can find everything your heart desires.
Chisinau has not yet reached with the urbanization and it adds charm to the city – it looks original and unique. Instead, there is a trendy graffiti mosaic of Soviet times – sort of a vintage street art.
Do not be prejudiced and try to feel the city in a weekend, talk with locals, try the local cuisine. There are many national restaurants – go at leastto one of them. You can always make your weekend bright – you just need to have a desire.
