For a weekend to Odessa in February

Odessa is one of the most popular tourist points in Ukraine. This southern city is famous for its architecture, warm sea and, of course, its peruliarity. Ukrainians choose the Pearl near the sea as a place to have a rest throughout the year. And we advice you to go there in winter and summer both.

In February the weather differs from the Kiev’s one – it is +9 degrees, that means that you can pack your bag and travel South.

Odessa offers its guests different types of entertainment, and it can be really full of tourists in the season peak. But when it is low season, you can go to Odessa as well and spend less money – the prices are rather attractive in the winter.

While walking the  city you cannot avoid meeting with different monuments, fancy buildings and other city sights – they are everywhere in Odessa. In February there is no way for you to drink cocktails in Arkadia and lie in the sun, so try to explore all the interesting places of this amazing city. Monument to the 12th chair or Teschin bridge – all these places are must see.

Also we recommend you to visit The Sea Gallery with rather interesting exhibitions and the globe on Troitska St. To feel the character of the city go to the famous Odessa yards, for example, Utesov’s yard, Gotsman’s yard, Mishka Yaponchik’s yard and the triple yard on 16 Deribasovska St.

Even though there are a lot of historical places in Odessa, a lot of people (we are among them) go there to visit cafes, bars, restaurants and other pleasant places. Places like “Kompot” or “Franzole” are real zests of the city. But there is a problem: there are so many places in Odessa one cannot visit them all during one weekend. So choose carefully.
