Everyone of us was rented apartment for a day at least once in life. Service of the daily rent of booking accomodation Dobovo.com decided to find out: on what terms do Ukrainians agree to rent housing today.
The results of the survey show a lot of interesting things: for example, more than 90% of Ukrainians agree to rent an apartment for a day only in the center of the city. Almost half of the interviewed respondents will not pay more than 500 UAH / night.
How often do they rent and why?
Dobovo.com found out that the service of daily rent is very popular in Ukraine. More than 50% of respondents admitted that they rent housing annually, though infrequently – 1-2 times / year.
16.7% of respondents reported that they rent accommodation for day more often – 3-4 times / year. 14.3% of the surveyed Ukrainians use the service of daily rent even more often – more than 5 times a year.
Among the most common versions of rental accomodation on the first place was a vacation. 47.6% of Ukrainians rent accommodation for vacation. A little less – 42.9% of respondents rent an apartment to have fun weekend in another city. In connection with a business trip, only 7.1% of interviewed respondents rents an apartment.
By the way, the most popular reason for renting was rest with friends – 71.4% of Ukrainians rent an apartment for this purpose. In the minority – booking apartments for one-person (19%) and resting with the family (9.5%).
Prices, place of residence and type of rental
During the survey, Dobovo.com found out that the most popular option for daily rent in Ukraine was living in an apartment. 83.8% of Ukrainians prefer to rent an apartment for day.
Only 9.5% of respondents chose to live in a hostel as an optimal option for a daily rent. But renting the room was completely unpopular among our compatriots – it was preferred by only 7.1% of the respondents.
Among the most popular options for accommodation are 1-room (61.9%) and 2-room apartments (33.3%).
If we talk about the location of the rented apartments, Ukrainians showed almost complete unanimity – 90.5% of the interviewed respondents preferred an accommodation in the city center.
In the minority (about 5%) chose such options as living in a sleeping area or closer to the railway station or airport.
In the question of paying a daily rent of housing, the opinions of the Ukrainians were divided. 42.9% of respondents said they did not agree to pay more than 500 UAH / day for renting a 1-room apartment. The amount of 1000 UAH / day is considered the maximum acceptable for 33.3% of respondents.
16.7% of the survey participants will not pay for renting more than 300 UAH / day.
One of the most important criteria for Ukrainians, on which they pay attention, is a convenient location of the apartment. This is the opinion of 35.7% of the respondents. A little less – 33.3% chose the availability of amenities.
16.7% of respondents consider the purity of the apartment is the priority factor for daily rent. 9.5% of respondents primarily pay attention to the availability of designer repairs.
