Kyiv funicular: public transport and local attractions
The funicular is one of the business cards of Kyiv. It walks along the steep slope of Volodymyrska Hill and connects Mykhailivska Square with Poshtova Street, the trip takes only three minutes.
The funicular was opened in 1905, and during its long life it has undergone several major upgrades. Now the cable car is two stations with warm lighting, stained glass and arches.
Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra: a “must see” for everyone
