Can you imagine going somewhere or visiting new city without taking pictures? We neither. We are fond of sharing our adventures in Facebook or Instagram or other social network. And we know 5 places in Kyiv where you can take really good pictures.
- After Euro-2012 Olympiyskyi stadium became one of the symbols of the capital. Due to its modern exterior the reconstructed stadium is a perfect point for good pictures’ making. Famous Ukrainian fashion magazines (Vogue among them) often choose Olympiyskyi as location for their photoshoots. White walls, streamlined shapes, really cool steps – what else needed?
2. Still dreaming of visiting Paris? Or just want to visit it once again? All these desires can be satisfied in Kyiv – in the city center (Henri Barbusse str.) there is a copy of Tour Eiffel, 16 meters high. And for sure this is cool location for taking “french” photos. In the evening The Tour is illuminated with various colours, so choose the time for shooting reasonably.
3. Heydar Aliev’s park in the Hlybochytska str. is a real pearl of Lukianivka. It is situated near the Embassy of Azerbaijan and is actually a present made by the people of this country to the citizens of Kyiv. The park is really good: it has beautiful fountain, glass mosaic and dozens of different types of trees. And in order to post photos immediately there is free WiFi. Enjoy!
4. Observation platform of the high-rise building in the 4a Krasnozvezdnyi av. provides a breathtaking view of the Kyiv’s right bank and Zhuliany airport. The height of the building is 100 m, so you can imagine the beauty of the pictures taken from the platform. The organizers take care not only for your safety (it is really hard to fall out the platform), but your comfort as well – you can have a cup of coffee and use a plaid. So it definitely worth to climb it up.
5. Summer terrace of One Love Espresso Bar opposite the Mykolayivskyi Church is not only a place to have a cup of good coffee, but also a good shooting location. Eclectic style of this place (mix of historical beauty of the Church and modern view of the business center opposite) is a perfect background for all of your pictures.
