Celebrations will begin in advance – August 22

To celebrate Independence Day 2017 in the capital will be on a grand scale. So, the celebrations will begin two days before the official date – on Tuesday, August 22. Everything begins with the opening of the exposition under the open sky. The exhibition will be devoted to armament: a large arsenal of military equipment will be presented here. Kyiv and the guests of the capital will be able to see the exposition on Khreshchatyk Street: from the Institute to the European Square.

On Wednesday, August 23, Ukraine officially marks the Day of the National Flag. On this day you can see the ceremony of solemn lifting of the flag by the president on Sofia Square, as well as the gala concert “Ukrainians in the World” with the participation of teams from Argentina, Canada, Poland, the USA and Ukraine.
