Most popular destinations for travel
It is quite expected that the most popular destinations for many Ukrainians who prefer to rent accommodation on the reservation services are the cities with a million population: Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv and the Dnipro.
On the first place the capital – here for the first half-year of 2017 for a day rented habitation more than 16 000 times. This figure includes both the rental of apartments, and rooms in the hotel, hostels and houses.
On the second place is Lviv. Here for the specified time there were altogether 4,723 bookings. The top three is closed by resort Odessa – here according to the estimates of Dobovo analysts there were totally 3849 bookings. True, the season of holidays is still ongoing, so it is quite expected that this figure will increase at least until mid-September.
The fourth place among the most popular cities in terms of the number of reservations for a day is Kharkov. Here for half a year rented 1063 apartments. Closes the top five leaders of the Dnipro: here in the first 6 months of 2017 there were altogether 493 bookings.
What Ukrainians usually rented?
One of the most popular options for renting a flat for a day is renting an apartment. Not surprisingly, most Ukrainians have booked this format of housing on the Dobovo website.
During the first half of the year 2017, Dobovo.com booked 27 431 apartments on a daily reservation service. The indicators for renting other types of housing are much lower:
Number of rooms booked 455 times
Place in the hostel – 434 times
The house or cottage – 184 times.
It should be noted that among the most popular formats of housing leadership still retain 1-bedroom apartments. They were rented for 14 months on Dobovo 14 565 times.
Two-room rented 9270 times;
3-room apartments – 2868;
4-room apartments – 430.
